What goes from standing still to 60 mph in roughly 5.3 seconds? You've got it! The Genesis GV80, Hyundai's first luxury crossover SUV, was introduced in 2021. Our Annapolis, MD Genesis of Annapolis team had the privilege of test driving the Genesis GV80, and it was all that and a bag of chips. Here are two performance feature highlights.

Two Beefy Engines

Two engines propel the Genesis GV80, affording it admirable power. The base option is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder making a whopping 300 horsepower. For a few extra bucks you can get the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6. It produces 375 horsepower, leaping to 60 mph in under six seconds, while the four-cylinder achieves the leap in a mere 6.1 seconds. That's not too shabby at all.

Excellent All-Terrain Handling

When it's time to drive in adverse weather, the Genesis GV80 is up to the task. It combines all-wheel drive with an electronic limited-slip differential. The eLSD uses advanced sensors to detect loss of wheel grip, distributing drive power as needed to left and right rear wheels for optimal on-road traction and performance off-road.
