    Hometown: Red Bank, NJ

    With over 50 years experience in the automotive industry, Frank learned the automotive business from the ground up. He broke into the industry as a sales representative in Baltimore and eventually became a sales manager and general manager at a Volvo Retailer. He is a graduate of the NADA General Dealership Management Program.

    In addition to Genesis of Annapolis, Frank is the President of Annapolis Hyundai, Annapolis Subaru, Volvo Cars Annapolis, and Gateway Subaru.

    Frank and his Annapolis Cars team have been recognized as Corporate Philanthropist of the year  by the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.

    Active in the community, he is a former member of the Maryland Auto Dealers Association Board of Directors, Subaru of America Dealer Advisory Board and the BB&T Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of The Summit School and the Volvo Cars of North America Dealer Advisory Board.  Most recently Frank was awarded the Commercial Stewards Award from the Chesapeake Bay Trust. The trust's Commercial Stewards Award annually is given to recognize an outstanding corporate or commercial entity that strives to make a difference in the community and for the Bay. Frank was the recipient of the award for his work to implement stormwater management projects and best practices at his dealerships.

  • Patrick Wergin
    Vice President

    Patrick began his career as a 15 year old lot attendant at a Volvo retailer working with our owner and CEO, Frank Ferrogine. While attending the University of Baltimore, he maintained the position of used car buyer for our orginal franchise, Annapolis Volvo/Subaru. Over the years Pat has learned about all aspects of dealership management.


    He has served the Pre-Owned Sales Manager and General Manager overseeing all operations of Annapolis Subaru, Annapolis Hyundai, Volvo Cars Annapolis, Gateway Subaru and Genesis of Annapolis. Pat is now the Vice President and a partner in the Annapolis Cars family.

    He is a graduate of the NADA General Dealership Management Program, he also serves as an advisor and council member for many of our manufacturers.

  • Mike Mayfield
    General Manager

    Mike joined the Annapolis Cars team in 2001  as a Lot Attendant and fell in love with the industry and dealership family. 


    Mike is a graduate of Towson University and NADA Dealership Academy. He has worked his way through different positions and is now the General Manager of Genesis of Annapolis. He lives in Ginger Cove with his wife and two children.

    With over 30 years experience in the automotive industry, Jean still experiences joy  seeing someone getting a new vehicle and takes pride in delivering the red carpet treatment to all of her clients.


    In the early 1970's Jean's mom was a trailblazing female automotive Finance Manager. Following in her footsteps, Jean's first foray into the industry was in a similar role. She moved to the lender side and back into dealerships where she has held a wide variety of management roles.

    As 1 of 8 children, Jean enjoys a robust family life. When not spending her free time with her mom, in PA, Jean can be found in Annapolis baking and cooking with the grands and taking in the their sporting events.

    Hometown: Severna Park, MD 

    With more than 30 years experience, Russell is a seasoned industry professional.  Russell along with his wife and two children enjoy boating on the Severn River and hanging with friends and family.

    Hometown:  Annapolis, MD


    Chu has enjoyed a multi-faceted automotive career. His experience sprouts from his employment at his family-owned local service station, and grew to technician, MSI Inspector, sales associate and through to management roles in automotive finance and sales.

    He and his wife have enjoyed thirty years together and have raised two well-educated daughters. His hobbies include golfing, fishing and shooting.  

    With strong faith and determination, Chu is a grateful cancer survivor.
